The most common use of this word in their culture every middle-easterner knows:
Growing up, when a muslim kid asks for permission to play outside, or about anything in the future, their parents will say "inshallah", literal translation means "if god wills it."

The english equivalent is "maybe",

as in "no, its not gonna happen."
